The Polycarbonate Store began in 2011 as a division of Charley’s Greenhouse & Garden in Mount Vernon, Washington. Its beginnings came from our strong sense that outdoor living, do-it-yourself projects, building ‘repurposing’, and hobby use of polycarbonate products are gaining in popularity. We see this in our retail store every day, at events, and at trade shows. People have a strong interest in making use of what they have, their homes, carports, breezeways, and garages. Our products are sent all over the U.S. to help our customers with everything from patios and porches to old timbered barns to the most expensive homes. Letting light come in and keeping snow, rain, and wind out has been the center of thousands of projects. Charley’s Greenhouse & Garden has been working with polycarbonate since its initial use in the greenhouse industry - over 40 years.
In 2012, this wealth of knowledge was tapped in order to launch an online web store for do-it-yourself homeowners, builders, hobbyists, and greenhouse growers to purchase materials and supplies for their projects. Our website, polycarbonatestore.com was established and trademarked. Our brand is designed to provide customers with a wide selection of polycarbonate materials, colors and sizes.
